Students were educated on campus housing policies

The staff of Al-Farabi KazNU held a number of meetings on the topic of maintaining order in the dormitories, which were attended by 1st year students and activists living in students' homes.

The events were attended by: freshmen of the university faculties, representatives of the Directorate of the campus of KazNU, Department of Youth Work, student council, employees of the police department of "Bostandyk" district and edvisors of faculties.

At the meetings freshmen were able to get acquainted with the chairmen of student councils and heads of dormitories.

There were also talks about the rules of living in student houses, the need for residents to observe public order and safety on the campus of Al- Farabi Kazakh National University.

    In addition, the issues of crime and delinquency prevention, prevention of students' participation in religious radical movements were touched upon. Also during the conversations the aspect of social danger of prostitution and pornography was considered.

    As a result of the discussions, students received answers to their questions about the order and cleanliness of the dormitories and other topics. A number of organizational issues were solved, such as: selection of floor leaders, public assistants, approval of the schedule of duty of student activists, etc.

   Such events help freshmen to replenish their knowledge about the rules of life on campus, adapt to new conditions, get used to and immerse themselves in student life.
