Scientific trip to Bursa (Turkey)

According to the scientific project «The sacredness of symbols and attributes in the ethnic culture of the nomads of Central Asia», dedicated to the study of the sign system of traditional nomadic culture, Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Khabizhanova G.B and Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology Kartaeva T.E. went on a scientific trip to Bursa (Turkey) to collect material for a collective monograph.

The following goals were planned within the framework of the  scientific trip: firstly, a comparative analysis of the system of symbols and attributes in ancient and modern culture and worldview of the Kazakh people with the Turkic peoples and the symbols of the Turkish people; secondly, data related to the experience of exposition and popularization of national heritage were collected.

To achieve the goals of the trip, the following directions were chosen: the archaeological museum, the Merinos Textile Museum, Museum of migration, the Bursa Central Museum, the «Fatih Osmanli» Museum, the «Karakoz» Museum, the «Aktoprakli» archaeological complex, medieval mosques and mausoleums, traditional historical ethno-villages "Dzhumalykyzyk" and " Inkaua".
