The "Dedication to Students" holiday

On September 14, the most grandiose and long-awaited event of the beginning of the new academic year "Dedication to students" took place on the square in front of the Rector's Office. It was impossible to convey the atmosphere of this evening in words: state and public figures, famous scientists, writers, journalists, bloggers, pop stars were invited to the evening, as well as heads of foreign diplomatic missions and consular institutions, teaching staff, and more than 10,000 students of the first class were the guests of honor of this evening course. At the end of his presentation, Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev lit a "Candle of knowledge" in a solemn atmosphere. All those present at this holiday performed the Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan live accompanied by the ethno-jazz instrumental group "Damu". The stage was filled with unusual performances with both student numbers and numbers from the stars of the Kazakh stage as the famous young singer Malika Yes, the folklore ensemble "Akbulak", the winner of international competitions Galamat Beisekozhayev, the famous performer Seifullin Zholbarys, Mukasan Shakhzadayeva, Royals Live Band. The most striking numbers were mass performances of young people with the participation of students of the ART Center (the show of the ballet "Farab" under the direction of the Honored Worker of Culture, choreographer Galina Esmukhanbetova, the student orchestra of national instruments "Farabi Sazy" - the head of the orchestra Zita Svanbayeva, young vocalists - singer and actress Fariza Eschanova), sports club, military training. The final patriotic song "Barimiz birge el ushin" was accompanied by a striking bright salute. Traditionally, the student holiday continued with a disco. This holiday for young people was a success thanks to the efforts and hard work of all employees who had direct participation in it.
