KazNU is working on opening a branch of the University of China

Within the framework of the state visit of the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to the People's Republic of China in May this year, an agreement was signed on the opening of a branch of the Northwest Polytechnic University in KazNU.

In order to implement this agreement Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebaev September 8 met with Vice President of Northwestern Polytechnic University Zhen Jianyu and discussed the opening of the branch. Further, the honored guests held a meeting with Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyazzat Erkinbaeva and exchanged views on the ongoing work on the opening of the branch.

During the meeting Lyazzat Erkinbaeva noted: "For our part, we are actively working. It is necessary to choose the building where the branch will be located. As well as to prepare classrooms and form a department for the teaching staff", - said the vice-rector.

In turn, Zhang Fuli noted that Northwestern Polytechnic University is accelerated work on opening a branch in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
