Scientific trip to Mangystau region

Tattigul Kartayeva, Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD Ainur Beisegulova, started a scientific trip to the Mangystau region from September 16 to 23, 2023 under the project of grant funding AR14869303 "ethnozooarchaeological study of the role of the wolf and the dog in the ancient and modern culture of Kazakhstan" and PhD student, teacher Esenamanova A. S. in order to collect a database on the topic of the dissertation "historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples in the museums of the Republic of Kazakhstan: experience and current state". We thank the director of the Mangistau Museum of Local History named after Abish Kekilbayev Elvira Ablanova, the director of the Mangistau State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum Nurlan Kulbai, the head of the Tupkaragan District Museum Aigul Balabayeva, the director of the Mangistau Regional Memorial Museum Serikbol Kondybai Rima Berdieva for their help in working on museum funds and organizing field ethnographic research.
