Gender equality as a key element of sustainable development
On October 5, 2023 at 10:00 a scientific webinar on the Zoom platform was held for 3rd year bachelor students on the topic “Gender equality as a key element of sustainable development.” The speakers were 2nd year undergraduates from the Department of Financial Customs and Environmental Law. The webinar examined the importance of gender equality and its relationship with other sustainable development goals. The speakers shared statistical data and discussed the role of organizations and the state in achieving gender equality. The goals and objectives of the UN Women structure were also reviewed.
Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and, together with the speakers, explored important aspects of gender equality. The webinar was a fruitful exchange of knowledge and ideas, contributing to a deeper understanding of the role of gender equality in the sustainable development of society.
