Guest lecture "Open API Open development of the digital financial services ecosystem"

On October 18, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., within the framework of the 8th goal "Decent work and economic growth", the economist-analyst of the financial regulatory organization Yesenzhol Darkhan, with the participation of the senior lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Asilova A. S. and 4th year students, held a seminar "Open API Open development of the digital financial services ecosystem" in the discipline «Digital Finance».

The lecture discussed the implementation and implementation of Open API and Open Banking of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, during the period of digital transformation in the country, issues of financial market development, development goals of Open API and Open Banking, foreign experience in methods of regulating various approaches and financial market regulators were considered.

The students had a lot of pressing questions:

* What are the advantages of Open API and OPEN BANKING for the country's economy?

* How correct is it to implement this project?

* More advantages or disadvantages?

* At what time exactly will the project be launched?

* How likely is it that the project will be postponed due to the deadline?

* What risks can banks and clients face when launching a project?
