On October 16, 2023, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal: Quality Education an event on the topic: “Code Switching” was held by the 3rd year students majoring in “6B02303 – Foreign Philology ( Western languages)" and the lecturer of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies Bekturova E.K.
The goals and objectives of this event: to define the concept of “code switching”, to consider the prerequisites for the emergence of a linguistic phenomenon, to qualify the types of “code switching” depending on the functional focus, to analyze the manifestation of language codes in the context of bilingualism.
