Students of the branch in Bishkek visited KazNU

A trip to Almaty and a campus tour of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were organized for students studying at the university branch in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic).

As part of the trip 250 students studying in the branch visited the University Museum, the Palace of Students, CSC "Keremet", familiarized themselves with the faculties and campus of KazNU. A gala reception and concert program were organized for the guests.

We specially brought students from Bishkek so that they could see their alma mater with their own eyes, familiarize themselves with the modern infrastructure of the university, communicate with their peers and take out useful information and vivid impressions from this experience," shared Zhamin Sheishenov, Director of the branch. - I must say that the branch is gaining momentum and popularity in Kyrgyzstan. And I am sure that we have everything ahead of us. And the branch will successfully work for the benefit of the two states".

Recall that the branch of Al-Farabi KazNU in Bishkek has been operating since May 2022. It was established on the initiative of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev following the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Zhaparov to Kazakhstan in March 2021.

Education is conducted in 13 educational programs at the bachelor's and master's levels in the state, Russian and English languages. The list includes such directions as: biology and biotechnology, mechanical and mathematical specialties, geography and nature management, oriental studies, information technologies, journalism, philology, economics and business, law, chemistry and chemical technologies, philosophy and political science. At the end of training in the branch, students who have successfully passed the certification are awarded diplomas of the National Academy of Sciences "Al-Farabi KazNU".
