An educational hour on the topic: "Content and Essence of Gender Education"

On October 31, 2023, at 10 am.,, in Room 314,  G.T. Ospanova,  senior lecturer  in  the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, held an educational hour  on the topic: "Content and Essence of Gender Education" within the framework of Gender Policy  with the 1st year  students of "6V01701 - Kazakh Language and Literature" major.  The goal of the educational event was to   increase cognitive activity, to develop  skills of expressing own ideas and confidence, to teach students to work in teams. To reach the event goal the lecturer used Question-Answer Method. The educational hour included   "Daraboz intellectual game "  which  consisted of 3 stages: "Baige," "Doda," "Zhorga."  Baige stage consisted of questions and answers taking into gender policy.    Doda stage included guessing of riddles  which were translated into three languages.  And  "Zhorga" stage contained guessing of authors by reading excerpts form their literary works and listening to the opinions on these works. At the end of each stage there made conclusions. The students also made situational tasks and took part in discussions.   The event also “Rebus" game. The students said that they received a lot of information from the educational hour. The educational hour was held in an informative and interesting way.
