An event on the theme "Ecological state of the environment" was held at the DEPARTMENT of PRE-UNIVERSITY TRAINING within the framework of SDG 15

Purpose of the event: explanation of the factors and consequences affecting the deterioration of the environmental situation in the city of Almaty at present.
Tasks accomplished:
1. knowledge of the current environmental condition of the city of Almaty;
2. identifies the main factors that pollute the city;
3. understands the consequences of pollution of the ecological situation of the city;
4. develops ecological culture and forms at a competent level a vision of preserving the balance between man and nature;
5.identifies ways to improve the ecological situation of the city and offers his/her opinion.
6.determine the level of pollution of the city with garbage and consider preventive measures;
Course of the lesson:
What is the ecological condition of the city of Almaty today?
At present the ecological situation of Almaty is sharply deteriorating. When studying the composition of the air by the city's ecologists (with special devices), it was found that there were too many toxic substances. According to the data for 2019, the city of Almaty is among the 100 cities in the world with the most heavily polluted and dangerous environmental conditions. It occupies the 95th place in the most polluted city.
During the event the listeners familiarized themselves with the environmental situation of Almaty city. They identified polluting factors and consequences. They made mutual analysis. Determined ways to improve the environmental situation of the city and expressed their opinion. Determined the level of pollution of the city by garbage and provided preventive measures.
Ecostation, opened specially in the entertainment center "Mega" of our city, got acquainted with the work of the company "Ecosen" on environmental protection. The purpose of the ecostation was to increase the culture of people in collecting garbage and to create an opportunity to contribute to the respect of the environment, and for this purpose, first of all, a person must consciously act within the framework of environmental protection.
