On November 3, 2023, in the assembly hall of hostel No. 16, a round table was held dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the great kuyshi (kuy performer) Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly with the participation of 1st-year students of the Department of Economics 6B04103-Economics.
The art of kuy is a noble heritage of the Kazakh people, preserved until our era. Kurmangazy occupies a special place in the power of kuy, which shows the difference between the Kazakh nation from others and fills the sky with the sounds of dombra in some international grandiose dances.
During the round table, students performed the kui “Adai” by Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly. If you listen to Adai's kuy, you can imagine the cries of brave heroes attacking the enemy and the trampling of horses. The 4th goal of sustainable development of the future society “Promoting inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning” and through the preservation of cultural heritage, the 11th SDG “Sustainable cities and settlements” will be achieved. Tender songs and wonderful melodies that have reached us through outstanding poets and singers are the cultural wealth and spiritual food of our people.
