On October 30, 2023, at the Faculty of Philology of al-Farabi KazNU a there was a lecture-dialogu with the 4th year students of Kazakh philology major with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of teaching activity, philologist Abisheva Rysken Rakhymkyzy. The lecture was held within the frameworks of SDG 4: “Quality Education”. The organizers of the lecture-dialogue were the teachers of the Department of Kazakh literature and literary theory, S. Erzhanova, L. Mekebaeva, and E. Seisenbieva.
Rysken Rakhymkyzy spoke about the main values of human life, shared not only her knowledge, but also her life experience and her thoughts about the extraordinary upsurges of the human soul.
The main topic of the lecture was the formation of cultural and spiritual values of the younger generation, the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people, the priceless heritage of the people. The lecturer compared the role of cultural heritage in the educational process and in modern life.
To become the support of the country, the young generation should set great goals. They should have a developed sense of national spirit and identity and preserve the spiritual values of their people and the history and language of their country. Other important issues were also discussed, such as understanding the spiritual experience embedded in the basic rules and national values created by the Kazakh people, which have become our national idea, recognition of national ethnocultural traditions and customs, respect for the history of your motherland.
At the end of the lecture, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veteran of teaching activity Abisheva Rysken spoke about interesting facts about writing her books. I shared my thoughts about the feeling of patriotism as the most important part of national culture, about the spirit of courage laid down by our ancestors, who preserve the peace and unity of the country. At the end of the meeting, Rysken Rakhymkyzy gave parting words to the students and thanked them for their attention. The lecture was followed by informative and insightful interviews.
