KazNU and Darussalam Gontor University signed a memorandum

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi with a working visit visited the delegation headed by the Rector of Darussalam Gontor University in Indonesia Fahmi Hamid. During the visit, the honored guests met with the leadership of the higher educational institution.

At the meeting Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebaev noted that the visit of the Rector of Darussalam Gontor University to KazNU is of great importance, and today's meeting will give impetus to strengthening multilateral relations between the two universities. Also in his speech, the rector noted that KazNU has a rich experience of working with foreign universities in the scientific and educational space.

"Al-Farabi KazNU has ties with leading universities, institutes and scientific centers of the world.  Among them are the universities of Indonesia. KazNU closely cooperates with Darussalam Gontor University. In the future we should work together in the scientific direction. For our part, we make every effort to implement initiatives aimed at developing partnership", - said the rector.

In turn, Fahmi Hamid thanked the head of KazNU for attentive attitude and made a number of suggestions.

"I consider it necessary to intensify work on the development of cultural, educational and scientific partnership between KazNU and Darussalam Gontor University. At the same time, if we develop work on the implementation of programs of double-diploma education in bachelor's and doctoral studies, this initiative opens excellent prospects for the two universities," - said Fahmi Hamid.

During the meeting, the rectors agreed to systematically implement the above proposals. At the end of the negotiations, the parties signed a memorandum on cooperation and areas of cooperation.
