At the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners of Al-Farabi KazNU continues to carry out activities within the framework of the realization of the goal of sustainable development. So, on November 11, 2023, the event "My clean city" was held. The event was held in the format of a round table and virtual tours.
The aim was to foster interfaith and interethnic harmony, respect and interest in the history of states, as well as to attract students to the problems of the environment and careful attitude to it.
Teachers told foreign students about the history of Almaty city, environmental problems and ways to solve them. The students also made interesting presentations about the countries and cities they lived in and about the impact of the environment on the quality of life and how it can be improved. Foreign students expressed their gratitude at the end of the event.
