Issues of studying Kazakh philosophy were discussed in KazNU

In Al-Farabi KazNU within the framework of "I Kasabek readings" the international scientific-theoretical conference "Methodological bases of studying Kazakh philosophy" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, public figure, doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Amanzhol Kasabekovich Kasabek and the World Philosophy Day was held.

Opening the work of the conference, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi KazNU Lyazzat Erkinbaeva noted: "Amanzhol Kasabek is a scientist who made great efforts to determine the methodological principles of studying the history of Kazakh philosophy, its origin and the main stages of development of philosophical problems of cognition of a new type of thinking and elements. The legacy of the scientist, who determined the importance of our national philosophy and laid the foundation for the expansion of its space, is very relevant today, and in the future, obviously, will not lose its importance", - said the Vice-Rector.

The works of the scientist, who for many years held responsible positions in the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi and other places, are aimed at substantiating the need to increase the importance of spiritual life in the development of society. The famous scientist was fruitfully engaged in the study of the most topical issues of philosophy in the research direction. Many scientific articles were published in the editions of the Academy of Sciences and the University. Under his leadership more than thirty candidates of sciences and eight doctors of sciences in the specialty of "Philosophy" were prepared. He published more than two hundred scientific and scientific-methodical works. He was awarded the medal "For Merits in the Development of Science" and many diplomas.

The scientific meeting of philosophers discussed socio-methodological problems, multilateral aspects of the study of Kazakh philosophy in education, classified theoretical types of general philosophical thought.

In addition, the gathered shared memories about the work of the scientist-philosopher and there was a presentation of the book of the academician of the Academy of Social Sciences of RK Amanzhol Kasabek "Ғibratty ғұмыр", describing the life path and invaluable contribution to the development of education, science.
