Students of KazNU were told about counteraction to corruption

Within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, students of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU visited the site "Antikor ortalygy" of the Department of Anti-Corruption Agency of Almaty, where the Open Day was held.

The event was attended by Arman Rakhimov, Head of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Ualikhan Kuramayev, Deputy Head of the City Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Karlygash Useinova, Head of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Albina Biskultanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department, students of the Faculty and representatives of the Agency.

During the meeting, they discussed the issues of researching corruption problems in order to develop proposals for their elimination and prevention, formation of anti-corruption culture in the student community and participation in the organization of anti-corruption events. The agency staff answered the questions of the students. In turn, the students expressed their gratitude to the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty for the information provided and expressed their willingness to actively participate in initiatives aimed at the formation of anti-corruption culture in the educational environment.

The organizers emphasized that education plays a special role in involving students in the process of combating corruption, educating responsible and ethical citizens.
