Causes and consequences of social and regional inequality

On 13.12.2023,  senior lecturer of the Department of Economics G.K. Ilyashova and 4th year students of the specialty "6B04103 – Economics" held a round table on the topic "Causes and consequences of social and regional inequality" at which social issues were raised, which are the main goal of the set of goals based on the project "Sustainable Development Goals" (4SDGs).

During the round table, social indicators in the Republic of Kazakhstan were analyzed. In particular, on the topic of the distribution of the national product, income inequality, social policy, poverty reduction, employment policy and migration and immigration issues taking place in Kazakhstan, as well as investment projects in the labor market, the students prepared a separate presentation report and held a discussion. Work has been carried out to analyze, compare with the indicators of the previous year, and provide accurate statistical data.
