Conference of the Turkic World in Kyrgyzstan

From November 23 to November 25, 2023,  the «International Congress of Turkic Civilization» was held at Manas University https://www.manas.edu.kg/ru in the capital of the border state of Kyrgyzstan. The Congress was  organized by the «Center for the Study and Practice of Turkic Civilization». Nearly  230 scientists and researchers from 6 countries of the Turkic world: Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan took part in this scientific event.   There were also  the  lecturers and the  PhD  students who went to support the fraternal country on behalf of the  Faculty of Philology  of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. 42 articles (22 offline participation, 21 online participation) from the  professors,  the doctoral students and  the  Master’s degree  of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were sent to this congress, which touched upon «Education and Culture in the Turkic world», one of the most pressing topics of globalization. Being very interested in both education and the culture of the Turkic world the  Master's  Degree student of  the Department of Turkology and Theory of Language,  Tolkyn Omirzakova   decided to  make her contribution  to this congress. To deepen her  my knowledge  on  her  major:  «Foreign language: two foreign languages»,  she  made a presentation on the topic: «The features of e-books in educational process» in  «Education, teaching of foreign languages» section.  The aim  of this congress was  to consider the main educational and cultural aspects of the Turkic world from an international point of view, in addition to the mentioned direction, other important issues  topics were also discussed such as  history, language and   literature,   culture and communication, intercultural communication, issues of preservation and transmission of culture and  values-oriented   education, cultural studies, the problem of globalization, language education and research, literature of the Turkic world, topical issues of research in the field of language and literature, interlanguage translation (translation), modern translation methods, language studies, Turkological studies, comparative Turkic dialects, interaction of culture and society, communicative education and ethics.  The congress also covered new and relevant topics such as networking and global communications. The articles and abstracts presented by the  scholars  and the researchers from 6 countries on these topics were also interesting and informative during the brainstorming session. The information presented by the reporters was very  useful and valuable for future researchers. The most important thing is that during the congress the PhD and the Masters’ Degree students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University  received  a profound  knowledge  about the deep cultural heritage of the Turkic world. The given event also made Al-Farabi KazNU students more  spiritually enriched.
