KazNU teacher won a grant from the Korea Foundation

Senior lecturer of the Far East Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zaripa Asilbekovna Serikbayeva became the owner of the grant of the Korea Foundation.

The scientist will travel to the capital of South Korea to conduct research at Seoul National University.

The grant from the Korea Foundation, the largest Korean foundation, is allocated to support research and projects carried out by foreign scientists and university professors.

The internship will take place at Seoul National University, one of the leading universities in Korea, at the Faculty of Education from February 1 to July 31, 2024. The project is dedicated to research in the field of teaching Korean as a foreign language.

The Korea Foundation supports scholars and university professors in their research through a series of programs, workshops, and various projects to promote Korean studies. The grant competition is open to applicants from all over the world who are engaged in research and teaching in Korean studies.

Receiving the grant is not only a great opportunity for the realization of scientific works and projects, but also opens the door for cultural and scientific exchange between Kazakhstan and South Korea.
