The Bostandyk district Department of Employment and Social Programs, the department of social assistance at home for disabled children and people over the age of eighteen with neuropsychiatric diseases, appealed to 150 wards with a request to provide sponsorship in the form of food baskets. Teachers of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of the Kazakh National University immediately agreed to help with this demand. The idea of teachers to buy the most necessary products to create food baskets is a great way to support families of children with cerebral palsy. This not only provides families with basic goods, but also expresses concern. Such initiatives can help create a supportive society and make a meaningful contribution to improving the lives of those who need help. Food baskets were delivered to the center, then the center staff visited disabled children and handed over food to each family. We hope that even this small help has brought joy to every child and his parents. Providing food baskets is an effective way to help children, especially those with special needs, such as children with cerebral palsy. Providing food can reduce the financial burden on families, especially those who face additional costs for medical care and rehabilitation. This gesture may express concern on the part of society, emphasizing that families of children with cerebral palsy do not remain isolated and receive support from others. Such charitable initiatives contribute to the development of solidarity and empathy in society, creating a more sustainable and caring community. The event was organized within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals 3 (SDG 3).
