On February 7, 2024, the head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Law, Professor G. A. Kuanalieva and A. A. Esekeeva, a senior teacher, held a scientific seminar with students of group 303 on sustainable development goals. One of the important SDGs is goal No. 7 - Affordable and clean energy. There was an active discussion, statistics were provided on global energy consumption, the types of energy consumed, including available clean energy. Mechanisms for providing renewable energy sources were also discussed. Overall, the world is making progress towards Goal 7, and there are encouraging signs that energy is becoming more sustainable and widely available. The issue under discussion is very relevant and very important for our state.
