Partnership for Sustainable Development

On February 8, 2024 at 12:00 at the Faculty of Law of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of SDG 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", teachers of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, D.Y.N. Baymakhanova D.M. and K.Y.N. Kusainov D.O. organized a Leadership lecture on the topic "Anti-corruption is one of the main tasks of the development of New Kazakhstan" with the participation of 1st year students. The speaker was S.M. Sagimbekov, Member of the Anti-Corruption Council at the Almaty city branch of the AMANAT Party, CEO of VM Group Almaty.

In his speech, the speaker touched upon the important issue of the importance of public work for the development of New Kazakhstan in all spheres: economic, political and social. Using his example, he revealed how to use the opportunities available to young people in modern society to receive high-quality education, develop entrepreneurship, participate in public life to contribute to the development of their native country.

The speaker paid special attention to the urgent problem of combating corruption, noting the special role of youth in fostering zero tolerance in society to any manifestations of corruption. The position of the speaker on the problem of forming a decent society in the Republic aroused great interest among students.

The students listened with great interest to the lecturer who touched upon such topical issues, asked many questions and noted that getting a good education, playing sports, creating strong young families, and participating in the public life of the country is very important for future young professionals
