Meeting with scientists-philologists from Yakutia

The Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University met with teachers and with the Head of the Department of Yakut Literature of the North-Eastern Federal University named after M.K.Ammosov, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Valentina Grigorievna Semenova. Within the framework of the meeting the directions of cooperation were discussed. The necessity of partnership development in the sphere of science, education, introduction of innovative technologies was noted.

Associate Professor Semenova V.A. told about the system of education at M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University. She paid much attention to the directions of development of the Yakut literature department. She noted the necessity of experience exchange in the sphere of studying the problems of intercultural communication, publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Associate Professor Semenova V.A. made a proposal to organize joint scientific conferences and seminars in online and offline format, devoted to the trends of development of modern literary studies and folklore studies, the introduction of innovative technologies in the educational and research process, issues of interaction between Kazakh and Yakut literature.

Within the framework of the visit Semenova V.A. got acquainted with the content of educational programs on directions of preparation "Kazakh language and literature", "Literature studies". She was especially interested in the elective courses and author's courses of teachers of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature, such as "Creative Laboratory of Literary Critic", "Marketing of Literature", "Poetics of Oratory and Speechwriting" and others. Semenova V.A. noted the relevance and modernity of the content of disciplines studied in the framework of educational programs in the areas of training "Kazakh language and literature", "Literary Studies".

During the meeting the questions of patriotic education of youth, necessity of development of creative abilities of students, preparation of qualified personnel and employment of graduates of philological faculty were discussed.
