Academic mobility at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences

3rd year student of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of al-Farabi Kazakh National University Tutadze Aidar Narimanovich, from September 4, 2023 to January 17, 2024 successfully completed a scientific internship under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, located in the awesome city of Budapest, Hungary. The scientific internship curriculum included subjects such as: plant genetics, plant biotechnology, organic farming, plant pathology and food safety. The university also contributed to the development of various techniques, including polymerase chain reaction (PCR), DNA electrophoresis in agarose gel, Blast alignment, gradient PCR and analysis of capillary electrophoresis (electropherogram) results to identify microsatellites. This allowed not only to expand the theoretical base, but also to gain valuable practical experience, which will be invaluable in future professional activities. Expressing deep gratitude to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan  and al-Farabi Kazakh National University for the opportunity for a scientific internship in Europe. The knowledge, experience and skills gained will certainly have a positive impact on future academic and professional activities.
