The event dedicated to the life and the work of the national writer of Kazakhstan, A.Nurshaikhov.

Gender equality is a topic that is of a  great educational significance. Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature,  S.A. Turbekova, and the  1st year students of the Faculty of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University  participated in   the  event dedicated to the life and the  work of the national writer of Kazakhstan,  A.Nurshaikhov. In the conference hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  the students drew parallels between the love story of the characters of the novel and the author himself. They  told about the attitude towards the woman in  "Years of Joy and Love" novel and  the  the writer's wife ("Song of Eternal Love"). They mentioned about  her role in his fate, as well as the traditional role of men and women, having  emphasized that gender equality begins with the family.
