Agro-pastoralism and the “Millet Revolution” in the archaeology of the cattle breeding zone of Central Asia (through the prism monuments of Altai)

On February 15, 2024, with the participation of teachers, undergraduates and students of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Bauyrzhan Besetayev organized a leadership lecture by archaeologist, Candidate of Historical Sciences, docent Nikita Konstantinov “Agro-pastoralism and the “Millet Revolution” in the archaeology of the cattle breeding zone of Central Asia (through the prism monuments of Altai)”, where during the lecture they got acquainted with settlement monuments and found finds of Altai agriculture. In addition, topographical and aerial photographs of ancient specially dug drainage channels for irrigation showed great interest.
