Students were introduced to the directions of the scientific laboratories of the Department of Biotechnology

On February 15, 2023, at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an “Open Day of the Department of Biotechnology” was held for 2nd and 3rd year students studying in the educational programs “6B05103 – Biotechnology” and “6B05101 – Biological Engineering”, «6B05107 – Microbiology». The purpose of the event is to provide professional guidance to students to form a value-motivational attitude towards their future profession. During the event, students were given a great opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific laboratories of the department and the fundamental and applied scientific research carried out in them by the teaching staff. Scientific results obtained within the framework of scientific projects in various areas are demonstrated, prospects for their application in practice and implementation in the production sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan are shown.
