KazNU student received a scholarship from Japan
Diana Pazylbekova, a 4th year student of the Department of Japanese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won the MEXT Japanese Language and Culture (Nikkensei) Scholarship of the Government of Japan.
Diana Pazylbekova is studying at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Now Diana is in Sapporo (Japan) continuing her studies at Hokkaido University.
"In my short time in Japan, I have had a great time settling in and getting to know the traditional Japanese culture better. I am also studying Japanese language and culture in depth. The lessons include not only theoretical but also practical part. In my free time I attend a special club called "Bukatsu". One of the peculiarities of Japanese universities is specially organized clubs that unite students by interests. For example, Hokkaido University has more than 250 such student clubs aimed at developing personal qualities and creative abilities. Here, I attend a club called Nature Talks. Together with other students I visit picturesque places in Japan", - said a student of KazNU.
Note that the Japanese government's MONBUKAGAKAKUSHO: MEXT scholarship (NIKKENSEI program) is available for international students interested in in-depth study of Japanese language and culture. The grant includes: tuition, a monthly stipend, and transportation costs.
This year, in addition to Diana Pazylbekova (Hokkaido University and three other students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies: Rakhima Erezhepova (Daito Bunka University), Shakhislam Kazen (Osaka University), Amir Kairkeev (Tokyo University of Foreign Languages) became the owners of the scholarship.
