Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education "Almaty-Tsukuba: A Journey to Self-Improvement and Enlightenment"

On February 16, 2024, at the faculty event "Almaty-Tsukuba: A Journey to Self-Improvement and Enlightenment," the speakers were Nazykesh Akhmetoldinova, Moldir Medeubay, Nurgul Tulebayeva, and Nurlan Baysynov. Nazykesh Akhmetoldinova and Moldir Medeubay shared their semester experience in academic mobility and answered questions on the topic. They introduced the structure of Tsukuba University, the education system, and interesting events held on campus. Also, feedback was given to students on the documents required for participation in the academic mobility program.

Then, Nurgul Tulebayeva and Nurlan Baysynov shared their experience of a week-long internship at Tsukuba University. They highlighted the peculiarities of the Japanese healthcare system as well as public health. At the same time, Japanese measures to overcome the consequences of climate and seismic disasters were presented.
