In his online speech he emphasized the relevance of the direction of the forum, noting that over the past 5 years, 27 countries have developed their own concept of artificial intelligence development. Then the Minister presented to the attention of the audience the data of IBM report.

"Augmented Work in an AI-driven automated world", which analyzed the quantitative and qualitative impact of AI on professional activities. "Two key conclusions of the report: first - a revolution in the field of AI has taken place, and we all recognize this, and second - in fact, algorithms will not directly replace people, but people who have included AI tools in their functionality, agenda, will gradually begin to displace from the labor market those who do not have the capabilities and resources to use the additional capabilities of AI", - stressed Sayasat Nurbek.

In turn, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev: "The world is already living in the era of artificial intelligence. As emphasized by the Head of State, the main tasks set before us are to minimize the "digital divide" and promote "digital agglomeration". This is especially relevant in a geographically large country like Kazakhstan. It is important for us to take this into account when developing and integrating new technologies into all spheres of life - from economy and security to medicine and education," said the head of the university.

As part of the Digital Farabi forum, a scientific and innovation exhibition was held, in which scientists and students of KazNU, as well as students of Stem centers presented their developments and startup projects.

The purpose of the event is to provide support and assistance in the realization of innovative projects of young scientists.

More than 20 innovative projects were presented to the attention of guests.

Among them is a mobile application in Kazakh language for children with speech disorders, developed by the university scientist Diana Rakhimova.

The aim of the project is to study the tasks, teaching methods for children with speech impairment using modern artificial intelligence technology. Thanks to the scientific project, children will learn to speak quickly, develop and concentrate attention, and perceive information better. This development will be useful not only for children, but also for speech pathologists, researchers and IT-specialists.

Another project presented by young scientists of KazNU is "Automated intelligent greenhouse". The smart greenhouse not only simplifies the process of growing crops, but also facilitates the work of specialists. That is, special sensors control the air temperature and inform about the need to water plants. Thus, the activity of the greenhouse is carried out with the help of modern technology. In their work, students use a reliable and safe source of energy - solar panels. According to Gulnur Kudaibergenova, a 3rd year student of KazNU, one of the authors of the project, such projects exist in the world practice, but they are not fully realized in Kazakhstan.

On account of the exhibition organized at the higher education institution gave visitors the opportunity to learn more about the research and innovation projects of young scientists.

A job fair was also held as part of the forum. In total, more than 35 large companies and organizations took part in the fair. Employers provided students with a wide range of vacancies in various fields.
