February 29, 2024 at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law was held international, scientific and practical conference "Improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental law enforcement", timed to the 90th anniversary of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. This conference was held within the framework of the realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at building a peaceful, open and democratic society, in the interests of its sustainable development.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss topical theoretical problems of ensuring environmental law and order and rational use of natural resources, issues of law enforcement in the activities of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the transition to sustainable development.
