For the purpose of sustainable development of outreach educational events and international cooperation, on the eve of the Chinese New Year, 02/08/24, at the Confucius Institute together with the Faculty of Pre-University Education of Al-Farabi KazNU, the beginning of the New Year celebration was marked according to the Eastern calendar. The event was attended by and a welcoming speech and congratulations were delivered by the Consul for Education of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty Ms. Huang Xiaomin, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization of Al-Farabi KazNU Dzhakubaeva Saltanat Toleuovna, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Education Keldebekov Kanat Karakulovich, Head of the Department of Pre-University Education Tauekelov Nurlybek Bakytbekuly, Heads of Departments of other higher educational institutions, guests from the faculties of Oriental Studies, International Relations, pupils, listeners, students.
Together with students of the Confucius Institute studying Chinese, as well as students of the Faculty of Pre-University Education from China studying Russian, the guests were presented with an interesting concert program with games and quizzes on their knowledge of the Chinese language. The distinguished participants were awarded with memorable gifts. Those present received great pleasure from this meeting; the atmosphere of the concert was very emotional, upbeat and festive. Our students took part in the concert: Fan Zhuoxuan, Hu Zihan, Aimer Daulet. Thank you for the invitation and cooperation.
