SDG 11. Educational lesson on «Green economy»

An educational event was held on February 23, 2024  «Green Economy» was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. Teachers of the department of thermal physics and technical physics, graduate students and students of the 2nd year of the specialty "Standardization and certification" (SS-255) took part in the open educational hour.

This event was organized by master students of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi KazNU "Standardization and Certification" - Musa A. K. Kuandyk A.T. K., Kuandyk A.T.

Currently, «greening» is becoming a global issue. One of the main trends is the development of alternative energy sources such as solar, wind and hydropower - reducing emissions and dependence on hydrocarbon fuels.

The purpose of the event is to introduce students to the «green economy» and consider ways to solve the country's environmental problems through greening sources.

Transition to the green economy is the main way to achieve active success in the CIS, to ensure economic and environmental stability, fair and prosperous economy of Kazakhstan. For this purpose, students were given ways to solve the country's environmental problems through greening sources. During the open lesson, basic information on the topic of green economy and ecology was given. Terminological and intellectual knowledge was confirmed by playing various interactive games. As a practical connection, green environmental behavior was formed by playing a game on sorting garbage in groups.
