Industrialization, innovation and infrastructure
On February 28, 2024, the 1st year Master’s Degree students of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, Mitalipova A.Sh. and Netto D.S., together with the 1st year students of "Foreign Philology" major and their advisor Tairova G.A. held a round table discussion on the topic "Industrialization, innovation and infrastructure" within the framework of SDG 9.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the master's degree student who were moderators. They presented the topic and the purpose of the round table discussion. The students also discussed with the event organizers every aspect of the topic - industrialization, innovation and infrastructure. During the discussion on industrialization, they expressed their opinions on the importance of developing the manufacturing sector for the country's economy and in general. They discussed the problems associated with outdated technologies and the lack of investment in various industries and how they could be solved. The students were divided into mini groups. For this type of work the moderators used visual materials. Also, innovations and their role in the modern world were discussed, the need for constant updating of technologies and the introduction of innovations to improve the quality of life of people was highlighted.
To summarize, the round table was very fruitful and helped students better understand the relationship between industrialization, innovation and infrastructure.
