Lesson on the topic: Gender Equality
On February 26, 2024, in Room 415 of the Faculty of Chemistry, together with students of CHI 108, on the eve of the centenary of the scientist, a student conference: "Women legends in linguistics of Kazakhstan" was held, dedicated to the life path and scientific contribution of Professor, academician, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Syzdykova Rabiga Galievna.
The students prepared reports on the biography of Rabiga Galievna, who went through her career from pedagogical college, Pedagogical Institute named after Abai, postgraduate studies to Doctor of Philology, professor and academician. The linguist was engaged in the problems of the history of the Kazakh literary language, lexicological studies of the language of ancient works, the basics of linguistics. Also in their reports, the students noted that a special place in the research of the scientist is occupied by the study of the work of Akhmet Baitursynov, the language of the works of the famous educator and writer. Of great importance, as the students pointed out in their speech, is the role and contribution of Rabiga Galievna in the creation of explanatory, etymological dictionaries of the Kazakh language. As the first linguist, Rabiga Syzdykova entered the Golden Fund "Daughters of the Great Steppes" for her contribution to the formation and development of the modern Kazakh literary language. A special place in the biography of the scientist is occupied by work with dissertators and graduate students, who, under the clear guidance of the academician, have made their feasible contribution to the development of the state language.
The group listened with great attention to all the submitted student reports, and questions were asked about the content of the reports. The bright image of the legendary woman, which had a tremendous impact on the formation and development of the Kazakh language, will be remembered by a group of chemists forever.
