SDG 7. Event on "Affordable and clean energy"

28.02.2024, Group № 125 with students of the specialty" Electric Power "held an event" inexpensive and clean energy "within the framework of the project" Ruhani zhangyru".

At this event, 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by 193 countries, including the UN, were discussed on September 25, 2015, including the topic of "inexpensive and clean energy". The event was attended by senior teachers of the Department of PFN and CF Abdieva Sh.A., Tolemis M. T. Teachers reflected on the importance of sustainable energy for strengthening the economy, protecting ecosystems and achieving social justice. During the event, it was noted that the seventh goal is aimed at solving the problems of energy poverty, economic availability of energy resources, ensuring sustainable energy development.

It was considered that clean energy is renewable energy that does not consume resources accumulated on earth, such as coal or gas, and it was noted that the use of clean energy is an integral part of the fight against climate change. It was considered that most greenhouse gases come from energy production, that is, from the burning of fossil fuels (oil, coal and gas) to generate electricity and heat. During the event, each of the clean energy sources was considered and the pace of their development in the country was given. Students, convinced of the need to switch to a clean energy source for the bright future of the country, for an impeccable environment, determined that they would contribute to the development of this direction in the future. During the event, students summed up the goals and prospects of their future profession - Electric Power industry.
