International Hindi language conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of KazNU
As part of the sustainable development program in the direction of partnership for sustainable development, 03/13/2024 at the Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Indology Department of the Department of Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies, as well as the 90th anniversary of KazNU, an international scientific and practical conference was opened on the topic: “The present and future development of Indian studies in India and Eurasian countries.” The conference was attended by the best specialists in the field of Hindi language research from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, India, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuimebaev and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of India to Kazakhstan Mr. Nagendra Prasad. During the event, issues of the development of the current state and prospects of the Hindi language in Central Asia, as well as current problems of the modern language, were raised. There were reports from foreign and domestic Hindi language researchers, and there were lively debates among the conference participants.
