Webinar “Including educational programs in the Register”: on the way to Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality education”

As part of the pursuit of sustainable development and improving the quality of education, on March 14, 2024, A webinar was held aimed at members of academic committees, deputy deans of faculties, and coordinators of educational programs. The event’s primary purpose was to inform participants about registering for new and updated educational programs in the Register. The webinar participants learned about issues related to the coordination of educational programs. Ways to solve some problematic issues that arise during the implementation of educational programs were identified. Key aspects covered in the webinar:

  • Gulmira Yesenbekovna Amirbekova, head of the educational program design bureau, raised problems implementing educational programs.
  • The rules for entering new and updated educational programs into the Register were highlighted by Aigul Karazhanova, chief specialist of the educational program development department.
  • Alexander Rozhkov, senior lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism, reviewed the use of professional standards in the development of educational programs.
  • Inna Dusenbina, an expert consultant from the Department of Educational Program Design, spoke on issues of informing about professional standards.
  • The deputy director of the Department for Academic Affairs, Asel Musinova carried out a summary.

In addition, educational program coordinators Aida Yerimpasheva and Lyazipa Medukhanova, teachers of the Department of International Relations and World Economy, actively participated in the seminar. This event is essential in providing quality education and moving towards sustainable development goals.
