On March 14, 2024, Associate Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Kalymbek Bakytzhan held a scientific webinar within the framework of the implementation of the 15th SDG "Life on land". Senior lecturer of the Department of Customs, Finance and environmental law, Ph. D. Ashyralieva B. S. and Zhugralina B. M. were invited to the webinar. The purpose of the webinar is to consider and evaluate ways to restore terrestrial ecosystems and protect them from desertification. Information on the current state of terrestrial ecosystems of the Republic of Kazakhstan is presented. The students answered the quiz questions to determine their level of knowledge in the field of ecology and geographical sciences. During the quiz, they answered the questions of environmental and land legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also discussed the tasks of preserving the terrestrial ecosystem.
