Today, students of the 109th group of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, together with the adviser of the Tagaybek Kymbat group, on the eve of the Nauryz holiday, held the "Syrga salu" ceremony.
Syrga salu is a long-standing Kazakh tradition. When the groom's relatives come to the bride-to-be's house, they ask for her hand in marriage and, with the permission of the bride-to-be's parents, put earrings on her, which is considered a symbol of good intentions on the part of the groom.
The purpose of this event is to honor our traditions and clearly show our national values to the younger generation.
