Scientists of the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Kazakh National University on the threshold of the anniversary of our university published a number of valuable works and presented to the 90th anniversary of the university. In this regard, published 1-2 Volumes of multi-volume "anthology of Turkish philosophy", developed by the Department of Philosophy and the Kazakh Committee of the Philosophical Society of Turkish Peoples, established in 2022.
It should be noted that this work is a legitimate continuation of the authors' creative search within the framework of the state program "Cultural Heritage". The research platform also attracts doctoral and master's students who conduct research on certain topics of Turkish philosophy. All three levels of the educational program" Philosophy "cover disciplines such as" Turkish Philosophy"," Kazakh Philosophy"," Abay and Shakarim"," Modern Kazakh Philosophy" related to Turkish-Kazakh philosophy.
"The anthology includes texts and the scientific analysis provided by them of the philosophical and religious-mythological worldview of the Turkic peoples and nationalities that have inhabited the Great Steppe since ancient times. The series was headed by the Chairman of the International Scientific Council, Rector of the University Zhanseit Tuimebaev, coordinated by Deputy Chairman Bekzhan Meirbaev, Professors Tursyn Gabitov and Zhakypbek Altayev, and the 1st volume "Pre-Islamic Turkish Philosophy", published according to my plan, covers the history of Turkish thought from the discourse on Turkish philosophy to Islam, studies mythology and the nature of beliefs. Worldview orientations in the Orkhon scriptures, philosophical ideas about Tengrian philosophy, and Turkic descriptions of the world," said Aset Koranbek, head of the Philosophy Department.
Volume 2, dedicated to Al-Farabi's philosophy, presents a series of works by Al-Farabi that comprehend the spiritual realities of Turkish civilization in the era when the human thinker lived. The place and role of the scholarly thinker in Turkish culture and philosophy are also assessed.
