International educational competition

Ulpan Korpebaeva, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management, took part in the international phonetic competition "the best pronunciation in English" organized by the Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication of the Volgograd Institute of Management.

In this competition 64 students and 32 pupils from different cities participated in the online competition with knowledge levels. Students and pupils-participants presented videos of expressive reading of poems and reading by heart prose passages from works of English-speaking authors for expert evaluation by the jury. У. Korpebaeva presented to the experts an expressive video recording of an excerpt from Life, Charlotte Bronte in English with musical accompaniment for the phonetic competition.

The student of our study group distinguished himself with special abilities at this international competition of knowledge, took the prize 3rd place, the head Raushan Nauryzbaevna was awarded with a letter of thanks. The prize-winning place among foreign students we consider a distinctive merit of teachers of English language in school and university U. Korpebaeva. Korpebaeva and we thank all teachers.
