An international symposium was held in honor of the scientist
Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebaev received the veteran teacher, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Anatoly Ivashchenko.
At the meeting, the head of the university congratulated the scientist on his 80th anniversary.
In his speech Zhanseit Tuimebaev noted: "you have made a significant contribution to the development of university science in the treasury, brought up many students. For many years of work in the educational institution you have written more than 300 scientific works. About 70 of them were published abroad. You have also authored one monograph and a number of teaching aids. Your fundamental research and academic achievements occupy a special place not only in the training of qualified specialists, but also in the development of national biology," he said.
In conclusion, the rector awarded the scientist, who made an invaluable contribution to the development of the university, with the gold medal "Al-Farabi".
In turn, Professor Anatoly Ivashchenko expressed his gratitude to the head of the treasury.
It should be noted that after the meeting in Farabi Library was held an international symposium on "nanotechnology in biology and medicine", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Anatoly Timofeevich Ivashchenko.
