24 february, 2024

On February  24, 2024, from 16. 00 to 16. 50 p.m. Dairabekova G.K., the  Senior Lecturer  of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies  and the 2nd year students of “Foreign Philology” major held the event on the topic “SDG 6. Clean water and sanitation”. The participants came to thr conlusion  that sustainable access to clean water and sanitation requires collaboration at all levels: from local implementation of more efficient water technologies and the provision of appropriate infrastructure to international actions.  It is very important to raise awareness about water management issues.   The efficiency of water use can be increased through the development of innovative technologies in the field of water intake and wastewater disposal, as well as by increasing the share of reused water and the quality of its purification not for drinking water, but also for technological  and agricultural needs.  The  economic accessibility of new technologies for all segments of the population plays an important role.
