On March 25, 2024, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals project, an event was held on the topic “The harm of nicotine to the human body.” The event was attended by 3rd-4th year students majoring in Eastern Studies. The purpose of the event is to help students avoid bad habits, lead a healthy lifestyle, and also convey to them that smoking is dangerous to health. 3rd year students Erzhan Ospan and Ruslan Turgambaev gave information about what diseases smoking causes and how many cigarettes are needed for circulatory disorders in the human body. Borasheva Lyazzat, a 4th year student, told how many chemicals are contained in cigarettes, how much tar accumulates in the lungs in a year if a person smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. The event turned out to be very useful from the point of view of modern life.
