SDG 4. Educational event “March 18 – National Clothes Day”

As part of the ten days dedicated to the republican fair Nauryz, March 18 is National Clothes Day. This holiday was celebrated by students of group 115 of the educational program “Technical Physics” on the campus of Al-Farabi KazNU.

The purpose of the event is to modernize the Kazakh clothing style by popularizing Kazakh national clothing among the population. Widely promote among the public the creations of domestic clothing designers working in this direction, as well as promote their integration into the world of fashion.

Traditional values distinguish every nation. Just as a person has a personal signature, every nation has its own unique customs and traditions.

National clothing is an integral part of any national culture. This is not just clothes, it is a huge story that defines the face of the entire nation.

In general, the national clothing of the Kazakh people has its own characteristics, which are not similar to the clothing of other peoples, and was formed in accordance with nomadic life. All the beauty of Kazakh clothing lies in its ornaments; each decoration is a unique reflection of the history and thought of our people. Our national clothes are enough, which have not lost their dignity and are used not only as an advanced example of Kazakh craft, but also due to their beauty and convenience. In addition, Kazakh clothing has long sleeves and hem, is simple, suitable for work and life, and fashionably reveals the figure.

Therefore, National Clothes Day, held with the aim of glorifying national clothes, passed down according to our tradition from father to child, is very important.
