SDG 4. Educational event on the theme “Day of Agility and Mastery”

On March 20, a holiday was held around the campus of Al-Farabi KazNU, organized by students of group 223 of the educational program “Technical Physics”.

            The main goal of the event is to introduce students to Kazakh national traditional games. Many traditional games are played on this day. Tug of war, lifting earthen stones, Kazakh wrestling, taurdispak, kukpar, asik - all this is organized every year in honor of the Nauryz holiday. Sloppy kicking and hasty play are especially common among children. Although playing fast seems too easy, it is actually very beneficial for the child's health. Asyk is a bone obtained from the bone marrow of a sheep. It develops in the child dexterity, speed, and achievement of the goal set for him. Our national game, equal to chess at the world level, is togykumalak. This logic game makes a significant contribution to the development of the human thinking system. Every citizen should regularly engage in at least one type of national game, not only during the March holidays. The national game can be the key to strengthening our national immunity. “If you are strong, you will be strong,” says our wise people. Let's support national sports in March!
