SDG 13 refers to Sustainable Development Goal 13, which is one of the 17 goals set by the United Nations as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
SDG 13 specifically focuses on taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts. This goal recognizes that climate change is a global challenge that affects everyone, regardless of nationality or socioeconomic status. It aims to strengthen the resilience of communities and ecosystems to adapt to the impacts of climate change, as well as to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to limit global warming.
Some key targets of SDG 13 include integrating climate change measures into national policies, improving education and awareness on climate change mitigation and adaptation, mobilizing financial resources to address climate change, and enhancing climate-related disaster risk reduction and management.
Overall, SDG 13 seeks to promote global cooperation and collaboration to address climate change and ensure a sustainable and resilient future for all.
