Al-Farabi 2024" Olympiad ended in KazNU

The Al-Farabi International Olympiad "Al-Farabi 2024" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The Olympiad for 11th grade students of secondary general education institutions of Kazakhstan and CIS countries, as well as near and far abroad, is aimed at supporting talented, educated youth.

This educational competition, limited by the Faculty of Pre-University Education of KazNU, is held with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn".

Winners of the Olympiad, awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degree of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan received a discount on education at Al-Farabi KazNU.

For graduates of educational organizations from CIS countries, as well as near and far abroad, a high score in the Olympiad gives the right to enter the university without entrance exams with a discount on tuition.

The Olympiad was formed in three stages, the first and second rounds were held online, and the third round was held offline on the basis of the University.

The Olympiad was held in Kazakh, Russian and English languages in the following subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, informatics, history of Kazakhstan, world history, Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, English, German, French, basics of law.

For graduates of educational schools from CIS countries, as well as near and far abroad, the first round was held on March 12, the second round - on March 19, in online format.

The participants of the Olympiad, who scored above 23 points, tested their knowledge by taking part in the final stage, held on March 28, 2024 on the basis of the University.

The tasks of the third round of the natural-mathematical direction - consisted of solving theoretical and practical problems and answering test questions, and social-humanities directions - wrote essays, solved situational problems and gave answers to test questions.

The participants of the Olympiad expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the Olympiad.
